Refund Policy

At International Vedic Wisdom ("IVW," "we," "us," or "our"), we value our customers and strive for satisfaction with our products and services. This policy outlines the procedures and conditions for returns and refunds for items purchased through our website [Insert Your Website Address Here]. Our operational base for processing returns is in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.

1. Returns (Physical Goods)

  • (a) Return Window: You may request to return eligible physical products within 7 calendar days from the date of delivery. Requests received after this period will not be eligible for a return or refund.

  • (b) Eligibility & Conditions: To be eligible for a return, the physical item must be:

    • Unused and in the same condition that you received it.

    • In its original packaging with all original tags and labels attached (if applicable).

    • Returned due to being damaged/defective upon arrival or receiving the wrong item. (We may, at our discretion, consider returns for other reasons on a case-by-case basis, but generally do not accept returns for change of mind).

  • (c) Non-Returnable Items: Certain types of items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:

    • Digital products (ebooks, downloadable meditations, courses once accessed or downloaded).

    • Services that have already been performed (Astrology consultations, Meditation coaching sessions, Mantra guidance sessions).

    • Personalized or energized items (e.g., specific Yantras or gemstones prepared for an individual).

    • Consumable items that have been opened or used (e.g., Hawan Samagri, incense).

    • Items marked as "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable".

    • Due to their nature and potential for energetic sensitivity, Rudraksha beads and Gemstones may be subject to specific return restrictions outlined on the product page or determined at our discretion upon review of a return request.

  • (d) Return Process:

    1. Initiate Request: To initiate a return for an eligible physical item, please contact our customer service within the 7-day window via email at internationalvedicwisdom@gmail.com or phone at +91 9953 789831. Provide your order number, the reason for the return, and clear photographic evidence if the item is damaged, defective, or incorrect.

    2. Approval & Instructions: We will review your request. If approved, we will provide you with return instructions, including the return shipping address (likely our Mathura, UP base). Do not send items back without prior approval.

    3. Shipping the Item: Pack the item securely in its original packaging. Ship the item back to the address provided using a trackable shipping method.

  • (e) Return Shipping Costs:

    • If the return is due to our error (damaged, defective, or wrong item shipped), we will typically cover or reimburse the reasonable cost of return shipping. We may arrange for a reverse pickup where feasible.

    • If a return is accepted for reasons other than our error (at our discretion), you will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item.

2. Refunds (Physical Goods)

  • (a) Inspection: Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to ensure it meets the eligibility conditions.

  • (b) Processing: If the return is approved after inspection, we will process your refund. Please allow 5 to 10 business days after we receive the returned item for the refund to be processed.

  • (c) Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original method of payment. Please note it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.

  • (d) Deductions: Original shipping costs paid by you are generally non-refundable, unless the return was due to our error. If you were responsible for return shipping costs, these will not be refunded.

3. Digital Products (Ebooks, Courses, Downloads)

  • Due to their nature, digital products that have been accessed or downloaded are generally non-refundable.

  • If you experience technical difficulties accessing a purchased digital product, please contact us immediately for assistance. If we are unable to resolve the issue, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

4. Services (Astrology Consultations, Meditation Coaching, Mantra Guidance)

  • (a) Post-Delivery: Services that have been rendered (i.e., consultation completed, coaching session held) are non-refundable. You are paying for the practitioner's time, expertise, and the insights provided, the subjective interpretation or outcome of which cannot be guaranteed, as stated in our Terms & Conditions.

  • (b) Cancellations & Rescheduling (Pre-Delivery):

    • If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service (consultation/coaching session), please provide at least 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment time by contacting us.

    • Cancellations with more than 48 hours' notice may be eligible for a full refund or rescheduling without penalty.

    • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice but more than 24 hours' notice may be eligible for a partial refund or credit towards a future service, at our discretion.

    • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice or failure to attend a scheduled session ("no-show") are generally not eligible for any refund or credit.

    • We reserve the right to reschedule sessions due to practitioner unavailability, with prior notice given to you.

5. Exchanges

  • We generally do not offer direct exchanges for physical products. If you need a different item, we recommend returning the eligible item (as per the policy above) and placing a new order.

6. Damaged or Incorrect Items

  • Please refer to Section 1(d) and 1(e) regarding the process for items received damaged, defective, or incorrect. Contact us promptly within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
